Ummm...so I may have skipped a week in there. Sorry people. Things have been a little hectic 'round here!
Weight -- Holding steady at 126, basically where I want to be.
Exercise -- Last week I only went to Barre Amped once. Between board meetings and other commitments, I just couldn't get it in. However, this week I've been twice, including "Fire" on Tuesday which is more cardio-heavy. I'm also scheduled to go on Friday.
Splurge/Guilty Pleasure -- I had a piece of birthday cake with some awesome butter cream icing earlier this week. Killer :)
Success Story -- Hmm :-/
Recipe -- The Pinterest "Funfetti" dip from the Eat Yourself Skinny website. Hello, people...this is awesome. Now, it seems I never make something without a slight modification, so let me tell ya what I did. Here are the ingredients (with my modifications):
1 (18.9 oz) box Funfetti cake mix
2 cups fat-free plain yogurt
I used 1 plain container Greek yogurt, and 1.5 containers light/fat-free vanilla yogurt
1 cup lite Cool Whip
I may have eyeballed/added a little more :)
Fat-free animal crackers
Graham crackers are also quite tasty
Random thoughts -- Even though it was never my plan to fully submerge myself in diet mode, I still kinda feel like I've failed if I don't have anything super to report here. I know that isn't the case, but it's hard to break that mindset. Better luck next week.
